With so many inviting spaces, you’ll be drawn to gather outside, sit back and watch the children play, or just relax with a morning coffee listening to the ambient sounds of the rock water feature.
There are lawns large enough for an afternoon cricket match and cosy hanging pod chairs to have a quiet moment in the sun.
Get everyone together for a gourmet feast prepared on the large central BBQ, and sit around the magnificent outdoor tables crafted just down the road in Porepunkah.
Across from the large alfresco area is a kid’s haven, with plenty of things to keep them busy, including a gorgeous cubbyhouse, sand pit and swing set – all visible from any of the homes.
For those who’ve been out cycling or mountain biking, there’s a bike wash bay available – as well as a secure storage area in each home to store your bike or other recreational gear.
At night you can watch the same superb landscape come to life with accent lighting throughout, sit by the centrally located fire pit and soak in the ambience, providing the perfect moment to enjoy a glass of the region’s famous Shiraz, or toast a few marshmallows.

Our Place at Bright has been designed specifically as the perfect location for groups of family, friends, work colleagues or sporting clubs to holiday together, whilst not compromising on luxury and private space.
You’ll each have a place in your own home and all of its indulgent features, only to reunite in the generous indoor/outdoor living areas of the larger homes or at the impressive outdoor dining area, ready for gourmet dinners cooked on the well facilitated communal BBQ, and listening to the ambient sounds of the rock water feature.
The generous spaces allow for that feeling of ultimate relaxation and with so much to keep the kids entertained both inside and out, it makes spending time together simply easy.

Subject to availability, you can book any or all of the homes – at a maximum we can accommodate up to 28 people across 12 bedrooms and 4 homes.
Fun for the kids
Any parent will know how amazing it is to have a family holiday where there’s plenty to keep the kids happy and entertained. It’s an added bonus when the place is a luxury for the parents too!
Our Place at Bright offers just that – a beautiful space for mum and dad to relax while the kids are happy playing outdoors or in.
The kids’ outdoor play area, visible from all of the homes, is a kids’ paradise:

The internal driveways inside the closed gates are also a great area for the kids to ride the bikes or scooters, keeping away from the main road, and the large lawn areas perfect for a cricket match or kicking the footy.

Be sure to let us know so we can ensure you are well catered for with available travel cots (can be made up with linen for a small additional fee), high chairs, baby bouncer and premium quality Alive Body Baby amenities, all to ensure your stay is as stress free as possible.
Having a rainy day on holidays?
No worries – every home back at Our Place at Bright is equipped with board games, books & toys, and the Autumn & Winter homes have dedicated play areas, as well as kids’ DVDs.
Every home also has kids’ plates, cups and cutlery, bath toys and steps to help little hands reach the sink.

Famous as one of Australia’s premier cycling and mountain biking hubs, as well as for its close proximity to the Victorian ski fields, Bright and its surrounds also offers crystal clear lakes and waterfalls, bush walking trails, horse-riding, and even paragliding adventures.
To make life easier, there’s a bike wash bay and lockable external storage in each home, so everyone will have place to store away their bikes, snow gear, motorcycle gear, prams and scooters – keeping your life free of clutter!

Whether by foot, bike ride or a short trip in the car you will be spoilt for choice of things to do and enjoy. Gourmet foods, unique bars, boutique shops, beautiful walks and swimming holes or our local day spa, are all a stone’s throw from your chosen home.
If you decide to venture a little out of town, Bright’s surrounding areas open themselves to gorgeous wineries, challenging bike trails, award winning pubs and outstanding views of the valleys, making Bright 29 a fantastic base for any adventure.
